Darden’s engagement in Southeast Asia and Australia extends from the School’s strategic foothold in India to the Philippines, Indonesia and many other countries in the region. With academic opportunities for MBA students and Executive MBA students spanning the region, Darden Executive Education custom programs for regional clients, and the increasing popularity of massive open online courses, such as Raj Venkatesan’s Marketing Analytics, Darden’s presence and impact will continue to expand.

For the last several years, the Darden Worldwide Course for residential MBAs and the Executive MBA residency in India have overlapped, allowing the degree formats to enjoy engagements together, including receptions hosted by prominent alumni.

Academic Opportunities
One of four Global Residencies for Executive MBA students, the India Residency allows students to explore the business hubs of Delhi and Mumbai.
Global Immersion Courses
Global Immersion Courses provide students with the opportunity to engage deeply with another culture and its business practices. These courses typically run one or two weeks during January, March or May and are led entirely by Darden faculty members.
Global Topic Courses
Global Topics Courses allow students to learn about a particular business topic that is enhanced and best understood in a particular international location.

Past Global Consulting Project Locations
During their second year, Darden students have the opportunity to work directly with a global client on a pressing business challenge. These clients may be multinational organizations, small startups, nonprofits or other schools. Students conduct an onsite visit as part of working on their project.
