Europe and Russia
Darden’s reach stretches far and wide across Europe, with our largest alumni population based in London. Dean Scott Beardsley spent much of his career with McKinsey & Co. based in Belgium, and faculty engage frequently with partner schools and peers at conferences and thought leadership events.

One of four Global Residencies for Executive MBA students, the Europe Residency allows students to explore the business hubs of Paris and Berlin.
Global Immersion Courses
Global Immersion Courses provide students with the opportunity to engage deeply with another culture and its business practices. These courses typically run one or two weeks during January, March or May and are led entirely by Darden faculty members.
Previously offered Global Immersion Courses in Europe include Dean Beardsley's course to the Belgium and the Netherlands focused on the European economy and Elena Loutskina's course to Russia exploring adapting products, services and business models to an emerging market.
Global Topics Courses
Global Topics Courses allow students to learn about a particular business topic that is enhanced and best understood in a particular international location.

Past Global Consulting Project Locations
During their second year, Darden students have the opportunity to work directly with a global client on a pressing business challenge. These clients may be multi-national organizations, small start-ups, nonprofits or other schools. Students conduct an onsite visit as part of working on their project. Past locations in Europe have included:
