Darden is recognized as a preeminent educator and thought leader in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. Our presence in the Bay Area — the heart and soul of the world’s technology, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking — is paramount in our ability to remain at the vanguard of the field and serve our students, alumni and partners.
In addition to placing a global field office in San Francisco, the School is firmly committed to bringing the Darden community to alumni, friends and companies throughout the Bay Area.
Darden is tapping top student talent from the region through our West Coast Admissions Interview Days, providing students a range of experiential opportunities and residencies throughout the year and across all MBA formats, writing and teaching cases with Silicon Valley-based CEOs, placing students in a range of internships throughout the Bay Area — from startups to tech giants like Facebook and Google, and placing 5 percent of the School’s graduating class annually in fulltime roles with Bay Area companies following graduation.
