Business & Public Policy Club

BPPC Logo

The Business & Public Policy Club at Darden fosters meaningful education and discourse at the critical intersection of business and policy. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and create impact at the crossroads of public policy and private enterprise. Through dynamic discussions, events, and partnerships, we aim to cultivate a culture of shared responsibility and informed decision-making that addresses the broader societal implications of business and policy.

We also strive to highlight professional opportunities and career pathways for students aspiring to leadership roles in business and public policy, including but not limited to roles within federal and state government, public sector consulting, corporate government and external affairs, nonprofit advocacy, and think tank research. Our initiatives prepare members to be impactful leaders who can bridge the gap between private enterprise and public governance.

The Business & Public Policy Club is a nonpartisan organization that does not take political stances or endorse specific policies, parties, or candidates. While the club includes University of Virginia students and may involve University employees in its activities, it operates independently as a separate organization. The club manages its own operations, and the University does not oversee, direct, or control its activities or decisions.
