'Office Hours' with Senior Associate Dean Yael Grushka-Cockayne and Professor Raj Venkatesan, Presented by Darden Ideas to Action


Join Darden Admissions and Senior Associate Dean Yael Grushka-Cockayne and Professor Raj Venkatesan for a faculty thought leadership webinar series for prospective students. Grushka-Cockayne and Venkatesan serve as Academic Directors for the LaCross Institute for Ethical Artificial Intelligence in Business.
Professor Yael Grushka-Cockayne's research and teaching activities focus on data science, forecasting, project management and behavioral decision-making. Her research is published in numerous academic and professional journals, and she is a regular speaker at international conferences in the areas of decision analysis, project management and management science. She also leads Darden's professional degree programs - Executive MBA and Part-Time MBA. 
Professor Rajkumar Venkatesan teaches "Marketing Technology Products," "Marketing Strategy" and Marketing Analytics at Darden. Venkatesan's research focuses on analytics as it relates to marketing return on investment, customer lifetime value, mobile marketing and the global political economy. His research has appeared in several journals, including The Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science and Harvard Business Review. He is also a co-author of the book Cutting Edge Marketing Analytics.

'Office Hours' with Christoph Herpfer and Marc Ruggiano, Presented by Darden Ideas to Action


Join Darden Admissions and Professor Christoph Herpfer and Marc Ruggiano for a faculty thought leadership webinar series for prospective students. Herpfer and Ruggiano are part of the team leading Darden's Health Care Initiative, an effort focused on providing students with a suite of world-class curricular, experiential and professional offerings to support their educational interests and long-term career pursuits in health care.
Christoph Herpfer is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, specializing in healthcare finance, corporate finance, and banking. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the École Polytechnique Fédérale Lausanne and Swiss Finance Institute, and both Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE). At Darden, he is developing the first course on healthcare finance. 
Marc Ruggiano (MBA ’96) serves as Special Advisor for AI Initiatives at the Darden School, and he holds a joint appointment from the School of Data Science and the Darden School of Business. He teaches in the dual M.S. in Data Science and the MBA programs, including courses in business analytics and marketing. Ruggiano currently serves as director of the Darden-SDS Collaboratory for Applied Data Science (DCADS), an innovative collaboration that will serve as a vehicle to advance research efforts at the intersection of data science and business.
