2024 Annual NYC Virginia Club Financial Panel

This year’s annual UVA Financial Panel (now in its 24th year) was held at the NYC Yale Club. The event was sponsored by the Virginia Club of New York, the Darden New York Alumni Chapter, and the Mayo Center for Asset Management. The panel was moderated by Tyler Mathisen (CNBC Business News) joined by distinguished panelists. The event shared valuable insights for investing in a highly uncertain and challenging environment for today and beyond, including:

  • What are investors to do with their money now as investors face the headwinds from higher rates for longer than expected, sticky inflation, slowing economic growth, and continued uncertainty abroad?
  • The upcoming U.S. elections and what next for the Magnificent 7 stocks?

    The topic: Where to put your money today, tomorrow and for the next ten years. An all-star panel gave you their best insights on where the US and global economy was headed over the next months and years, and how you could position your portfolio to make money and dampen risk over the next decade.
