Career Consultant

Evan Inra has 25+ years’ experience in the technology and management arena, is passionate about diversity and inclusion, and coaching others to help them realize their purpose. He is currently a principal HR program manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Evan started his career at PwC and then IBM as a management consultant implementing technology solutions commercial industries, as well as in public sector/federal. After getting his MBA from Darden, he moved into federal consulting and then almost 4 years at EY driving internal people initiatives. This led to a full career transition into HR in 2018 (it is never too late!) and his current role at AWS driving talent management and career growth initiatives for employees. Evan is proudly bilingual (Spanish, of Mexican descent), is a connector and networking champion, and enjoys paying it forward however he can.
 
Evan is proud to be a part of the inaugural Darden EMBA class of 2008 (the pioneers!) and remains actively involved with Darden both as a class agent, as a career coach with Alumni Career Services and as a member of the Darden Alumni Board of Directors. Evan is married to a fellow Wahoo, blessed with a daughter who is a third year at UVA and a son who is a freshman at Michigan. He holds a B.S. from Penn State in Aerospace Engineering.
